The Centre for the Study of Modern Ceramics is a museum and educational organisation dedicated to modern ceramics. It is housed in a neoclassical building at 4-6 Melidoni Street and Agion Asomaton Street and has a permanent exhibition space with reproductions of traditional workshops.

Persons with Disabilities

The site of the Centre for the Study of Modern Kerameiki is fully accessible to people with disabilities with an accessible entrance and an accessible route to all areas that are open to the public.

Specifically, a person in a wheelchair has full access to the exhibits and educational texts, so that they can have a complete experience in the space. The flooring material in the exhibition space is non-slip slabs and wood to allow for safe wheelchair movement.
There is an elevator in the museum, but it is not required for the tour of the museum exhibition.
There is also a WC designed for the disabled in the museum.

The Museum is located in the centre of Athens, in the area of the ancient Kerameikos and specifically at 4-6 Melidoni Street, Athens, P.C. 105 53. Access to people with disabilities, as well as to all visitors, is through the main entrance. There is a pedestrian walkway and a disabled vehicle is allowed to stop at the entrance of the museum to enter the exhibition, but there is no parking space.
