The Team HERMES represents the largest student research group in robotics for medical applications in Greece and operates under the auspices of Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας, at Volos. In particular, the HERMES Group is working on the development of a fully functional robotic exoskeleton for people with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), enabling them to meet their basic daily needs. Its goal is to participate in the international competition CYBATHLON 2024 in the category "Exoskeleton Race", marking the first Greek participation. With the support of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Thessaloniki, the HERMES Team is moving dynamically towards improvement and technological development.
